Bangkok, Thailand, has an extensive bus network providing local transit services within the Greater Bangkok area. Most regular services are operated by the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA). Private Joint Buses (Thai: รถเอกชนร่วมบริการ) also operate on a major portion of the routes under concession.

The Bangkok BRT is a planned bus rapid transit service initiated under the Bangkok government of Apirak Kosayothin, and is still under construction as of 2008.

Inter-city bus services are operated by the Transport Co., Ltd. (บริษัทขนส่งจำกัด, บขส.) with north- and northeast-bound, eastbound and southbound buses leaving from the Chatuchak (Mo Chit 2), Ekkamai and South Bangkok Bus Terminals, respectively.
