This List of countries by traffic-related death rate shows the annual number of road fatalities per capita and per vehicle-km in the world’s developed countries.

According to the World Health Organization road traffic crashes are the 6th most common cause of death in developed nations.

Note: Neither the number of road fatatities per capita, nor the number of road fatalites per vehicle-km are necessarily indicators of road-traffic safety.
