TranWare(TM) is a proprietary software system used for the management of ground transportation fleets such as Taxicab, Paratransit (non-emergency medical), Executive Sedan, Airport Shuttle and localized Courier. It includes modules for Order Entry, Scheduling, Dispatching, Driver Cashiering, Account Billing, Vehicle Maintenance, Automated Wireless Dispatching and Automatic Vehicle Location via GPS.
TranWare was developed utilizing input from field operators and has been in use since 1995. The system is exclusively manufactured and distributed by TranWare, Inc., a Florida based company owned and operated by its designer J. Steven Furniss and family. The TranWare product line is in use at over 100 installations throughout the United States and Canada.
TranWare, Inc. also produces TranAir(TM), a cellular phone based version of its automated dispatch module.
TranWare is represented by the Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association.
